We are virtually like ONE BIG FAMILY here at Smiling Faces. It is recognized when a visitor steps into our home, with all the picture display I have on the wall. Celebrations and family gatherings are encouraged to develop a sense of unity.
We bring the community to us! Firefighters, Police officers, Dentist and other community helpers are invited each year to come speak to the children. They provide vital information to help them learn about ourselves, the society and to make good choices.
We have the Book Mobile come once a month to provide literacy and story time to our SF kids, teaching children to love books and how to care for them.
Graduation is held in June for students leaving SF for Kindergarten and to recognize the children for their grade level achievements.
We hold an Annual Picnic each summer to celebrate “family time”. All families from past, present and even future families are invited to join us for a fun filled day at the park.
Multi-Cultural Potluck is held in November where we gather with good food and good company.
Fieldtrips are planned to provide new experiences to the children and simply to have FUN!
And most importantly … we celebrate the YOUNG CHILD!

Smiling Faces is invited to participate during Spring. We host a table and provide activities for the children all around.
Classroom Pictures – Life Touch Photography comes out to our school to offer individual, sibling and family photos. A classroom Photo is taken for keepsake. There is no additional sitting fee. Families get to view packets and make a purchase through Life Touch.
